Running Your First Scan

Once your license is activated, you can run your first accessibility scan in just a few clicks.

Starting a Scan

1. Go to AccessGuard → Dashboard.
2. Click Run Scan.
3. AccessGuard will crawl your site, testing every public page and post against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
4. Depending on your site size, this may take a few minutes. You can navigate away — the scan runs in the background.

What Gets Scanned

By default, AccessGuard scans all public pages, posts, and custom post type archives. You can configure which post types to include or exclude in AccessGuard → Settings.

Scan Results

When the scan completes, you’ll see a summary on the dashboard with your overall score, a breakdown by POUR category, and a list of all issues found. Click any issue to see the full details and fix recommendation.
